QUICK GUIDE
STEP 1 HYDRATE: Hydrate the straw using the lime bath method for cold pasteurization or by soaking in hot water at 80 degrees Celsius for 1 to 2 hours.
STEP 2 DRAIN: Drain the straw until it reaches field capacity where no water drips when the material is squeezed firmly in your hand.
STEP 3 INOCULATE: Mix the processed straw with your chosen grain spawn in a bag or container.
STEP 4 STORE: Store any unused dry straw in a cool moisture-free location to maintain quality.
